Bigger air movement from a larger cavity.
Rib depth: 100 mm (upper bout) / 125 mm (lower bout). The dreadnought’s large cavity produces room‑filling projection and authoritative bass presence.

A Sitka spruce soundboard with mahogany back & sides is the most recognizable acoustic recipe: open, lively treble with firm, musical lows—the classic steel‑string voice.
SoundPillar (Removable)
Micro‑tune the resonance.
Installing the SoundPillar subtly revoices the body, organizing partials so the fundamental is clearer. Results: cleaner pickup tone and a flatter perceived balance. Prefer warmer lows and a touch more damping? Simply remove the SoundPillar.
Internal Tests
Reference plots show overtone differences across strings 6→1 with/without SoundPillar, and time‑domain frequency response on an open E chord.

The traditional head silhouette pairs mass‑forward tuners with a metal headstock back plate, increasing headstock inertia to extend sustain.

43 mm (1.69″) traditional nut and a slim C‑profile make low‑string thumb‑over grips easy and suit smaller hands as well. The sculpted neck volute at the head‑neck junction adds support for open‑position work.

We use a tough, thin matte on the top (for pick‑rash resistance) and an ultra‑thin open‑pore on the back & sides to reduce damping—balancing durability with acoustic responsiveness.
