Paulownia Body Wood

The ST body shape with comfortable contours sits naturally against the player. Paulownia—now popular among custom builders—sits between basswood and alder in character: outstanding resonance, smooth tone, and above all, exceptional lightness.

Body Wood and Sound

Paulownia delivers a smooth, rounded attack with deep resonance—often compared with Swamp Ash. With high-output ceramic pickups, it covers mellow jazz/blues to more driven rock textures.

Maple Neck

Well-dried maple boosts long-term stability. Slim C-profile suits smaller hands, and the matte finish eases position changes and slides.

Semi-Rounded Neck Joint

Four-bolt joint for sustain and serviceability. Semi-rounded plate and smoothed edges make 18–22 fret access effortless.

Headstock

New Goldwood decal. PPS nut adds sustain and clarity with excellent heat resistance. Truss rod access for neck relief adjustments.

Fretboard

9.5″ (241 mm) radius maple or purpleheart board with 22 medium-jumbo frets and front/side dots. 25.5″ (648 mm) scale.

Electronics

Custom ceramic set voiced for Paulownia’s mellow character: strong output with textured bite. Bridge humbucker wiring cancels 60 Hz noise and delivers a sharp, substantial tone under the chrome cover.

Controls and Pickup Positions

5-way selector with master volume/tone makes on-the-fly changes simple. Tame ceramic drive harshness with the tone control when needed.

6-point Tremolo Bridge

Vintage-style 6-point synchronized trem for precise tuning and straightforward setup. Easy-to-clean saddle layout simplifies upkeep.
